ELIGIBILITY
All employees of member institutions in CASE District IV are eligible for these awards. Work done by freelancers or outside agencies is eligible, but must be submitted by the institution. Any project produced or implemented since September 1, 2006 and not previously entered in CASE District IV competition is eligible for entry.

JUDGING
Entries are judged by a panel of experts who are not current advancement professionals in District IV.

AWARDS
Entries may be selected to receive the following awards:

  • Grand/Gold, presented for an entry judged to be the best of its class.
  • Excellence/Silver, presented for an exceptional entry.
  • Achievement/Bronze, presented for an outstanding entry.
  • Special/Pewter, presented, at the judges' discretion, for an entry that deserves recognition.

Awards are not necessarily given in each category. The names of the office and institution responsible for the winning entry appear on the awards certificates. You may order additional personalized certificates for $5 each from the Awards Chair, Anita Thompson, until May 15, 2008. After that date, no extra certificates will be printed.

Your entry or entries should be mailed to the appropriate judging coordinator.

MAILING YOUR ENTRIES
Download and complete an Entry Form for each entry and attach it to your entry (not to the envelope) so that it can be seen by the judges. Information on the form is one of the considerations in judging, so prepare the form with care. Entries that do not meet the entry guidelines will be disqualified.

Mail your entries to the judging coordinator for the appropriate category. Your entries must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2008. Use either first-class mail or a commercial express mail service. Before mailing your entry, make sure that the entry form is complete and attached to your entry. Please check to make sure that you are mailing your entries to the correct judging coordinator.

NOTE: Entries postmarked later than February 1, 2008, will not be accepted for consideration.

WINNING ENTRIES
Winning entries will be displayed at the 2008 CASE District IV Conference in Little Rock. Winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony April 7, 2008, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.   Winning entries must be retrieved at the conference. Any entries not retrieved by the end of the conference will be discarded. Non-winning entries are not returned unless prior arrangements have been made, such as enclosing a self-addressed, stamped envelope or a package with the postage prepaid.

USE OF YOUR ENTRY FEE
After the awards competition expenses have been paid (printing, awards, and postage), the income from the entry fees will be applied to the District's operating budget.

QUESTIONS?
If you have questions after reading the entry packet, contact the appropriate judging coordinator or Awards Chair Anita Thompson, 918-458-2143, hylton@nsuok.edu.
