The Awards
Program recognizes outstanding work in institutional advancement within CASE
District IV.

ELIGIBILITY
All employees of
member institutions in CASE District IV are eligible for these awards. Work
done by freelancers or outside agencies is eligible, but must be submitted
by the institution. Any project produced or implemented since September 1,
2006 and not previously entered in CASE District IV competition is eligible
for entry.
JUDGING
Entries are
judged by a panel of experts who are not current advancement professionals
in District IV.
AWARDS
Entries may be
selected to receive the following awards:

Grand/Gold, presented for an entry judged to be the best
of its class.

Excellence/Silver, presented for an exceptional entry.

Achievement/Bronze, presented for an outstanding entry.
-
Special/Pewter, presented, at the judges' discretion,
for an entry that deserves recognition.
Awards are not
necessarily given in each category. The names of the office and institution
responsible for the winning entry appear on the awards certificates. You may
order additional personalized certificates for $5 each from the Awards
Chair, Anita Thompson, until May 15, 2008. After that date, no extra
certificates will be printed.
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
Download and Complete the Entry Form.
The fee per entry is $20. Enter as many projects as you like. A project
can be entered in more than one category.
Download and complete
the Payment Form and pay for all your entries (@ $20 per entry) with one
check. Make the check payable to CASE District IV. Mail the payment
form with your check postmarked no later than February 1, 2008, to:

While purchase orders
are accepted, credit card payment or institutional checks are preferred. If
you pay by institutional purchase order/requisition, you must arrange to
have a check mailed PRIOR TO THE CONFERENCE. Mail only your
payment form and check to Anita Thompson. Your entry or entries should be
mailed to the appropriate judging coordinator.
MAILING YOUR ENTRIES
Download and
complete an Entry Form for each entry and attach it to your entry (not to
the envelope) so that it can be seen by the judges. Information on the form
is one of the considerations in judging, so prepare the form with care.
Entries that do not meet the entry guidelines will be disqualified.
Mail your entries to the judging coordinator for the
appropriate category.
Your entries must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2008. Use either
first-class mail or a commercial express mail service. Before mailing your
entry, make sure that the entry form is complete and attached to your entry.
Please check to make sure that you are mailing your entries to the correct
judging coordinator.
NOTE: Entries postmarked later than February 1, 2008, will not be
accepted for consideration.
WINNING ENTRIES
Winning entries will be displayed at the 2008 CASE District IV Conference in
Little Rock. Winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony April 7,
2008, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Winning entries must be retrieved at the conference. Any entries not
retrieved by the end of the conference will be discarded. Non-winning
entries are not returned unless prior arrangements have been made, such as
enclosing a self-addressed, stamped envelope or a package with the postage
prepaid.
USE OF YOUR ENTRY FEE
After the awards
competition expenses have been paid (printing, awards, and postage), the
income from the entry fees will be applied to the District's operating
budget.
